Biography: Jacob Anthony Aihoon

Jacob Anthony Aihoon (Tony) attended the University of Education in Winneba, Ghana, and graduated in 2010 with a Diploma in Coaching. During his time at the University, Tony completed coaching courses sponsored by the Ghana Football Association, and received certificates in Basic and Intermediate Football Coaching. He is currently working towards his License C in coaching.

Even before achieving his Diploma, Tony had the ambition of setting up a football club in Cape Coast. He remained active in the local football community, speaking with players and encouraging them to continue practicing and playing. After his completion at the University, Tony, with the help of Dominic and Francis, created the Be Just Football Club. However, the Club was informal and not affiliated with the Regional Football Association League.

Tony was invited to visit the Football Club Academy in Utrecht, Netherlands. The experiences of international travel were very inspirational and educational.

Upon his return to Ghana from his overseas travel, Tony began scouting for potential players in the Cape Coast metropolis area, with the intention of strengthening the Be Just Football Club. After a competitive screening process, thirty-seven players were selected and the Club was ready to play in the Regional Football Association League.

In the first year of playing, the Be Just Football Club placed fourth out of eight teams in Zone 2. This was an incredible victory for a team playing in their first season.

With a year of experience that allows for greater understanding of the competition and for the skills required to win, Tony is anticipating that his team will place first or with the first in the next season.
